Fall in Love in a Snap

My mother tells me not to fall in love. She scolds me not to have a boyfriend.

But how can I not fall in love? After seeing Kuya Daniel’s online photo exhibit at http://www.danielrazon.com, I fell in love in a snap. I think I heard Visions of a Sunset played when I saw the photo of a sunset in the bay area of the Statue of Libery.

The two mysterious birds on a Victorian metallic table speak of a potential love-hate relationship. Look at how they position themselves. Bet you didn’t know they are situated at the two opposite side of the round table! But at a glance, you will notice as if they are side by side… like they have a mutual understanding? I wonder if birds fall in love too…

One would lower his pride and confess his feelings, after his nerves have been taken over by the sight of the lofty, Sequoia tree.

If not for these photos, I wouldn’t fall in love again. Sometimes we need to look beyond the things we see to appreciate its natural beauty. And these online photos are just a sample of his many artful works.

Kuya Daniel will tell you more about the story of capturing beyond what’s seen, through his second photo exhibit, Looking Beyond.

A picture worth a thousand words - Looking Beyond Photo Exhibit by Kuya Daniel Razon

Even a still photograph speaks

It will be showcased on the 26th of February at the Garden Ballroon, Edsa Shangri-la Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

The photos are for sale and the proceeds will go to the various public service programs such as  free bus ride, free train ride, free transient home, free legal consultation and many other free-bies.

Looking Beyond is presented by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI), the same production that launched Kuya Daniel’s first photo exhibit, In My Eyes and the launched of the coffee table book last year.

But whoever will go to the exhibit, there’s a warning though: Don’t fall in love  —  with the photographer. He is taken.

FYI: Kuya Daniel is on facebook! =)
